Unconscious FF Rescued from Second Floor of AR Home

A Crystal firefighter was knocked unconscious on the second floor of a West Pulaski home after being hit by falling debris.

A Crystal firefighter was rescued after knocked unconscious during a house fire in West Pulaski County Tuesday.

Firefighters battled the fire that engulfed much of the home and, as crews worked on the second floor, debris fell on crews leaving one firefighter unconscious.

A mayday was called, KARK.com reported.

West Pulaski Fire Chief Scott Joblin said crews were able to remove the firefighter to a second-story window and remove him to safety.

The firefighter was taken to Baptist Health Little Rock where he was treated and released.
